I’m very excited to have 4 paintings accepted into the 2016 “Laluzapalooza” exhibit at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. This will be the last week of my show at the ACA in Lafayette, LA. I am currently showing as part of the “Apocalypse Now” exhibit at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in the Main Gallery. There will be a closing reception this Saturday, January 9th from 6-9pm in conjunction with the January 2016 Second Saturday Artwalk. Great lineup in this exhibit- do not miss!

I’ve made some more progress to my current painting. This is a closeup of the deer I’m working on. I’ve built up the layers of paint, getting the colors where I want them to be and adding fine details with tiny round brushes in the final stage. I’ll post the painting again once it is finished.
