Another painting from my In Our Veins series has recently found a new home. My painting Anthropomorphism is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ x 6,” and one of the most recent paintings from the series. It is currently on exhibit in the 1000 Words show in the Main Gallery of the Acadiana Center for the Arts, so if you haven’t had the opportunity to see it in person, there is still time. The exhibit is open now through July 13th.
The 1000 Words exhibition opened at the Acadiana Center for the Arts last Saturday night. The opening was held in conjunction with the Second Saturday Artwalk in Lafayette, Louisiana. If you missed the opening, not to worry because there will actually be other ‘openings’ during the June and July Artwalk. The exhibit is open now through July 13th.
