I’ve been painting a few big cats lately (I’ve been a fan since I was a little kid) and am happy to see some find new homes. Bestow and Interconnect have both gone to the West Coast- Seattle and Los Angeles. Both paintings are acrylic on canvas, 6″ wide by 6″ high.
Excited to finally reveal my finished painting, Transcendental. This piece was specifically created for a new exhibit at Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco called “Familiar: The Spirit Animal in Contemporary Art.” Transcendental is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ x 6,” and features the “butterfly eyes” in keeping with some of my other paintings as of late. “Familiar” opens tonight, November 3rd with a gallery reception from 6-9pm and will remain up through December 1st, 2017.

I’m excited to reveal my painting for the upcoming “Lover’s Eye” exhibit at Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco, CA. I was invited to create a piece for this show as a modern take on the late 17th Century practice of painting the eye of a loved one to wear as jewelry. My painting, Insight, is an acrylic on paper, 10″ wide by 7¾” high framed (image size 6″ x 4″). The exhibit opens Friday, February 3rd with a gallery reception from 6-9pm. The show will remain up through February 25, 2017.
My painting, Vitality, will be featured in the upcoming “Wanderlust” exhibit opening this weekend at Modern Eden Gallery. This piece is an acrylic on pressed paper, 5.82″ wide by 4.13″ high. The opening reception will be this Saturday, December 10th, from 6-9pm at Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco, CA. And if you miss the opening, the show will be up through December 30th.
I recently created this painting for the “Wanderlust” exhibit at Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco, California. The title is Roam and it is an acrylic on pressed paper, 5.82″ wide by 4.13″ high. The exhibition is open now through January 2, 2016 so even though my painting sold, there is still time to see it in person.
I’m happy to announce that my work is currently featured on the cover and inside of Fourteen Hills: The San Francisco State University Review’s Fall issue 22.1. As seen on the cover is Equal, acrylic on canvas, 14″ wide by 11″ high. Details to their release party in San Francisco on December 15th can be found here: http://14hills.net/content/221-release-party.
