Revealing another finished painting Inside Out. Inside out is in reference to our love of nature mimicked through consumer goods which, once they are old or we tire of them, are tossed out into the very thing we love: nature. This painting is currently part of the “All the Things” group exhibition at Roq la Rue in Seattle. The show is up now through March 7th. Inside Out is an acrylic on canvas, 12″ wide by 12″ high. Progress photo of a new painting in the works. Sometimes I take artistic license with my subjects if they don’t quite fit what I had in mind. Such as this spider, which aside from the obvious (abdomen), doesn’t actually exist. So I looked at several spiders and created this one. This piece is an acrylic on canvas, 5″ wide by 5″ high. A collector kindly sent me these home installation views of my paintings. I love the arrangement of these pieces with personal photos and other art. Integrate and Regrowth are paired together and Efflorescence is centered between a photograph and a wall sculpture.
